The assault resulted in the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
